- Catalogue Description: Colorless pressed glass bread dish with Egyptian revival decorations. General oval shape with rim that extends into rectangle and has double canted corners; short sides of rim form handles. In center, scene of Egyptian queen (Cleopatra) in profile, seated on bench in front of a decorated banister; in background, desert with palm trees, head of Sphinx poking out of sand, temple, and large column. Around bouge, inscribed: "Give us this day / our daily bread". Rim decorated with stippled border and stylized flower pattern. CONDITION: Good; few tiny chips around edge and foot rim; few tiny hairline cracks around rim.
