Catalogue Description: Painted wooden mask in black and white. Curved path through center of scalp. On each side of path, rows of bold individual hair forms. Path continues down into forehead. Below forehead are bold stylized features that include heavy eyebrows; almond-shaped eyes, opened wide; a triangular nose with curved nostrils; and a large open mouth with dark upturned lips revealing upper and lower teeth. Teeth are outlined in black. Face has a wide jaw, small chin, and at eye level, small ears protruding from sides. Wood weathered. Some paint loss.
