- Catalogue Description: Pewter oil lamp, one of a pair. Pedestal consists of stepped dome base rising to narrow shaft with several sections, including large central tear-drop shaped section. Shaft supports cylindrical oil reservoir; body of reservoir tapers around collar to round opening (threaded on inside). Flat round lid with two metal feed tubes extending upright through center screws into opening. CONDITION: Fair; allover scratches, pitting, and discoloration spots; dark spots of discoloration or corrosion around reservoir and shaft; a few white spots of corrosion on lower edge of reservoir; feed tubes corroded.
