- Catalogue Description: Round blue pressed glass platter with central scene of the Old State House (Independence Hall) with strollers and rider on horseback passing by on street; below, molded: "OLD STATE HOUSE PHILADELPHIA / ERECTED 1735". Framing this scene around edge is wide band of geometric floral pattern punctuated with oblong registers filled with dot pattern. Upturned rim decorated with angled fluting around outside. CONDITION: Fair; tiny chips around top edge of rim; all over dirty; manufacturing flaws of bubbles and creases in glass.
