Markings: Impressed on interior of basin in center, partially impressed circular stamp of: "[I. DANFORTH]" around top edge, eagle with outspread wings and American crest over its breast in center, and "MIDD.CT." along bottom edge (top part of stamp worn)

Catalogue Description: Round pewter basin; rises from flat bottom to slightly flaring sides and narrow, everted rim with incised band in center. CONDITION: Fair; deep pit marks, especially around center; what appears to be a mend at edge of interior bottom; few small dings and scratches.
