MARKINGS
Impressed on underside, around center:
(1) & (2) two identical stamps, both partially struck: generally oval stamp with "WILLIAM" in banner around top edge; in center, scene of lamb holding a triangular flag on a staff and striding across ground; "[ELS]WORTH" in banner below, both banners curl at ends and meet along the side of the stamp at the midpoint.
(3) upside down, row of four squarish hallmarks, from left to right, of: "W.E"; striding lamb carrying flag; seated allegorical figure; partially impressed stamp of lion or dragon rampant

CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION
Large, highly polished round pewter plate with wide rim that curves upward at edge. Incised line around rim, about 1/4" from edge.
CONDITION: Fair; shows heavy use with scratches and pitting all over; few small dings in center and around rim; few dark spots of discoloration; one quarter-sized and one pea-sized spot at edge of center, could be mend or (more likely) melted spots.
