CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION Oval face mask carved on a rectangular ground with receeding sides. Face mask has a bulbous forehead and prominent nose. Close set eyes are rectangular and void. Three vertical scarification marks carved on each cheek. White pigment on face is worn and flaking. Pieces of string are threaded through some of the drill holes around edge of rectangular ground. Overall color of rectangular ground is reddish-brown. A modern metal wire on verso.
