Description Coffee spoon with a scalloped center of handle (top) and scalloped ears. The shoulders are incurved slightly and then bulge out, taper, and continue to taper, reaching its narrowest width near the base of the handle. The base has a small bulbous protrusion that is followed below by the bowl. The molded decoration begins at handle top with a floral bud framed below by asymmetrical vine pattern. Below this is a stylized sunflower with straight stem and four leaves; two leaves on either side. The sunflower is flanked by a highly molded S-scroll. Below are mirror-image vine patterns in an overall hourglass shape; within top scrolls are florets. In handle center are two raised lines that form a pointed arch (top) that gradually split, broaden and then merge with line border of handle. At base is another stylized flower framed below by an intertwined vine pattern. On the reverse of handle is a raised line border and an inner line border consisting of a stylized intertwined vine. Top of handle is decorated with a floral bud, as on front, top and in script is: "Muschenheim". The top of heel of bowl is decorated with a molded meandering vine pattern. Astor Pattern. CONDITION: Good; there are minor surface scratches notably on bottom surface of the bowl.
