Description This short-necked globular vessel with out turned rim is a large, classic water jar. The jar has a white slip background and a brown symmetrical design consisting of three registers that depict two abstracted rain bird wing patterns separated by a narrow band of rain birds. On each side of this design is a vertical register of two abstracted rain bird wing patterns. CONDITION: There is a round hole on side at base and six chips in the rim. The slip is starting to show fine cracks.
