Abstract: Letter from Pistyan, Slovakia. Culin describes his heightened enthusiasm for an African exhibition. He mentions an exhibit of African objects in Paris; a new German publication 'Negro Plastik' with excellent illustrations; the interest of Louis Clarke in exhibiting African objects at the Burlington Fine Arts Club, and in lending his objects for a show in New York; mentions Clarke's gifts to the British Museum; Algerian embroideries of great beauty; Germans re-entering the market after paying off their war debt.
