Partners in Education
Education has always been at the heart of the Brooklyn Museum’s mission to serve as a dynamic, innovative, and welcoming center for learning through the visual arts. Each year, we welcome over 400,000 visitors and present over 250 public programs, including lectures, dance performances, films, and concerts, many of them free of charge. Our popular Target First Saturdays offer free admission and events programming to over 100,000 visitors a year. Additionally, the Education Division conducts hundreds of school tours and art-making classes for students and children of all ages. Keeping the visitor as our first priority, we’ve designed our education programs to allow the broadest possible spectrum of museumgoers—from across Brooklyn and beyond—to connect to our world-class permanent collections and special exhibitions.
The Brooklyn Museum invites your company to join us in support of our mission by becoming a Partner in Education. By partnering with us, your company makes it possible for us to continue offering these dynamic programs, ensuring that everybody who comes through our doors feels welcomed, challenged, delighted, inspired, and moved. In gratitude for your support, the Museum is pleased to offer special benefits for your employees, clients, and guests. For a complete listing of our education offerings, please see the Education Programs brochure.
