Brooklyn Artists Ball
April 15, 2015
The Brooklyn Artists Ball is our biggest annual fundraising event celebrating the borough's contributions to the arts. This spring, we honor Arnold Lehman, Shelby White and Leon Levy Director of the Brooklyn Museum. Guests dine within one-of-a-kind environments created especially for the evening by Brooklyn artists, followed by a Dance Party. We hope you will celebrate with us!
First Annual Wine Dinner and Auction
May 27, 2015
We’re planning an evening presented at Reynard, at the Wythe Hotel, in creative partnership with Andrew Tarlow, Reynard Executive Chef Sean Rembold, and Wine Director Lee Campbell. Our program will begin with fine wine tasting and ingenious culinary artistry, followed by a fabulous live auction of rare bottles and wine-themed travel opportunities, and a festive dessert presentation. We are proud that the funds raised through this very special event will support our School Partnership Program.
Women in the Arts
November 5, 2015
For the past eleven years, the Brooklyn Museum has presented the annual Women in the Arts award for outstanding achievement by a leading member of the arts community in New York. In previous years of the event, we have had the exceptional privilege of honoring Jennifer Rubell and Mera Rubell, Laurie Simmons and Lena Dunham, Yoko Ono, Shirin Neshat, Kara Walker, Kiki Smith, Cindy Sherman, The Guerrilla Girls, Annie Leibovitz, Maya Lin, Mary Schmidt Campbell, and Elizabeth A. Sackler.
This year's benefit will be held on November 5 and includes a program and seated luncheon. Proceeds from the event support the many educational and artistic programs offered by the Brooklyn Museum and its Elizabeth A. Sackler Center for Feminist Art. For details on this year's honoree, please check back soon!
Fund for African American Art Annual Benefit
2016 Benefit date to be announced
The Fund for African American Art was founded in 2010 to support and encourage purchases and gifts of precontemporary art by leading African American artists. The Fund enables us to represent the depth of African American artistic practice over the course of two centuries more fully and permanently than any other New York museum. You can make a one-time or recurring gift online.
To learn more about the Fund’s annual benefit, please email email@example.com or call (718) 501-6589.
