Parking
Limited on-site parking is available in the patrolled lot at the rear of the Museum off Washington Avenue. The fee is $3 for the first hour, $2 each additional hour, maximum $12. On Target First Saturdays there is a flat rate of $4 beginning at 5 p.m.

The Museum Shop offers an eclectic mix of merchandise reflecting art from our collections and exhibitions and from around the world. Shop hours
Dining
The Museum Café offers hot main entrées and side dishes, deli and grill stations, and a wide variety of soups, sandwiches, salads, and desserts. An assortment of beverages is available, including Starbucks coffee, Tazo teas, wine, and beer. Café hours
Please note that no outside food is allowed in the Museum. Groups of more than 15 people must make arrangements to enter the café at one time. Specialty group lunches are available; these lunches require advance reservation and payment in full. Learn more about planning a group tour and luncheon.
Rest Rooms
Rest rooms are available on the first and third floors (see floor plan). Rest rooms are wheelchair accessible and have baby-changing tables. In addition, a family rest room is located in the newly renovated lobby.
Coat Check
Free coat checking service is available on the first floor. All packages, large bags, and umbrellas must be checked. Strollers may also be checked. Checked items must be retrieved before the Museum closes.
The Museum reserves the right to refuse items at the Coat Check and is not responsible for lost or stolen property.
Wheelchairs
Complimentary wheelchairs are available at the Coat Check on the first floor. Museum entrances and rest rooms are wheelchair accessible. For additional information, please see Accessibility.
Strollers
Visitors may use strollers throughout the building. The Brooklyn Museum reserves the right to restrict the use of strollers when deemed necessary. Strollers may be stored at the Coat Check.
Wireless Access
We offer free wireless access throughout our galleries and grounds. During your visit, we encourage you to switch to wifi (BrooklynMuseum) for faster download speeds. The wireless project was created by the Brooklyn Museum Technology Department, with help from NYCWireless.
