Conservation Graduate Intern (F/T), Fall 2019
(Full-time, temporary, unpaid internship)
The Conservation Intern position provides experience for individuals currently enrolled in a graduate training program for conservation. The Conservation Department specializes in objects, paper, and paintings, and the lab is responsible for the preservation, study, and treatment of our collections. Conservation works very closely with collections management, registrars, art handlers, designers, and curators toward the study, care, and presentation of these collections. Interns have opportunities to gain skills in both treatment and preventive conservation.
Compensation: The internship is unpaid; however, school credit may be earned.
Start and end dates: Fall 2019–spring 2020
Work schedule: Monday through Friday, 9 am to 5 pm
