Imaging and Data Intern (P/T)—Digital Collections and Services
(Part-time, temporary, unpaid internship)
The Imaging and Data Intern has the opportunity to experience and learn about the many facets of our Digital Lab, including image production and data/asset management and organization. Ideal candidates will have experience with photography, scanning, and postproduction using Adobe Photoshop and have the ability to work in an office environment managing physical and digital filing systems. Specific responsibilities include assisting with a long-term glass-negative scanning project, scanning transparencies of collections objects, creating metadata, and assisting with loading new images into our digital asset management system (NetX).
Compensation: The internship is unpaid; however, school credit may be earned.
Start and end dates: Specific dates to be determined with supervisor.
Work schedule: Flexible with work and/or academic schedule; 14–20 hours per week.
