The Elizabeth A. Sackler Center for Feminist Art presents a special screening of Ethel (Rory Kennedy, 2012, 97 min.), directed by Ethel Kennedy’s daughter, filmmaker Rory Kennedy. This documentary illuminates Ethel Kennedy’s remarkable life by enlisting the participation of those who knew her best: her family. It is an intimate portrait of the life she shared with Robert F. Kennedy and her life following his death, as well as a powerful exploration of the traumatic period that saw the assassinations of John F. Kennedy, Robert F. Kennedy, and Martin Luther King, Jr. This program is free with Museum admission.
