A Night at the Museum: Pierre Cardin: Future Fashion

Wednesday, November 20, 2019

6–7:30 pm

Morris A. and Meyer Schapiro Wing and Iris and B. Gerald Cantor Gallery, 5th Floor

Patrons, Trendsetter, and Groundbreaker Members are invited to an after-hours tour of Pierre Cardin: Future Fashion, the first New York retrospective in forty years to focus on the legendary designer's decades-long career at the forefront of fashion invention. Matthew Yokobosky, Senior Curator of Fashion and Material Culture, offers a behind-the-scenes look at the exhibition, contextualizing Cardin's innovative designs and avant-garde style.

After the tour, Maxim's at The Norm opens their doors exclusively for tour participants. Continue your night of Pierre Cardin with a special dinner selection of elegant cocktails and seasonal French dishes to transport you to mid-century Paris.

To RSVP and to make your dinner reservation for a 7:30 pm seating, please email individual.giving@brooklynmuseum.org or contact us directly at 718.501.6552.

Space is limited and reserved for members of the Director’s Circle, Brooklyn Families, Council for Feminist Art, Young Leadership Council, Contemporary Art Committee, Council for African American Art, and Members at the Trendsetter and Groundbreaker levels. Your Membership must be current on the day of the event or you will need to renew your Membership in order to join the tour.
