Artist's Eye: Baseera Khan

Saturday, October 2, 2021

2–3 pm

Elizabeth A. Sackler Center for Feminist Art, 4th Floor

Baseera Khan leads an opening weekend walkthrough of their exhibition I Am an Archive in this edition of Artist’s Eye, our series of intimate, in-gallery talks by contemporary artists that illuminate our special exhibitions with fresh perspectives. Presented as part of the UOVO Prize for an emerging Brooklyn artist, the exhibition features eleven new artworks alongside key works made since 2017. Khan explores themes around Muslim American identities, global economies of goods and materials, and the body as the site of connected histories.

Tickets are $16 and include Museum general admission (purchase tickets for Christian Dior: Designer of Dreams separately). Member tickets are $10. Not a Member? Join today!
