Milliner Stephen Jones leads a walkthrough of Christian Dior: Designer of Dreams in this edition of Artist’s Eye, our series of intimate, in-gallery talks by contemporary artists that engage our special exhibitions with fresh perspectives. Jones’s radical approach to hat design has attracted celebrity clients from Princess Diana and Rihanna to Mick Jagger and Lady Gaga. He has also worked with numerous major designers, and is currently collaborating with Christian Dior. In this tour, Jones discusses a selection of Dior’s beguiling and cutting-edge hats, as well as his experience building his distinctive brand.
