Brooklyn Symphony Orchestra: New York Celebration

The Brooklyn Symphony Orchestra presents a celebration of New York City composers. The evening begins with selections from Leonard Bernstein’s iconic musical On the Town, followed by works from two Brooklyn composers: Aaron Copland’s “Quiet City” and Michael Viens’s “Hummingbirds.” The program concludes with Philip Glass’s Concerto for Saxophone Quartet and Orchestra, featuring a guest performance by members of the MANA Quartet.
Advance tickets are $15 for seniors and Museum Members and $20 for non-Members; same-day tickets are $25 at the door. Free for youth 16 and under. Tickets are available through the Brooklyn Symphony Orchestra.
All visitors 5 and older must show proof of vaccination. Visitors 18 and older are also required to show a valid I.D. Masks are required regardless of vaccination status.
