1 p.m. Sweet Micky for President (Ben Patterson, 2015, 89 min.) follows Pras Michel, Brooklyn-born Grammy award–winning rapper and founder of the hip-hop group The Fugees, who ran the presidential campaign of Haiti’s most popular and outlandish pop star, Michel “Sweet Micky” Martelly.
3 p.m. Chisholm ‘72: Unbought and Unbossed (Shola Lynch, 2004, 77 min.) is a tribute to Brooklyn’s trailblazing Shirley Chisholm, the first black congresswoman in the U.S., who fought for change and became a popular candidate for president in 1972.
