Meet in the Education Studios, 1st Floor

Welcome to the Lab! In this special edition of our monthly drop-in workshop, participants ages 8 and up will celebrate our special exhibition One: Egúngún with artist Mary Adeogun. Learn about àdìrẹ, a storied Yorùbá textile from Nigeria that uses indigo dying and resist patterns, and try creating your own small piece. Other drop-in activities will be available for all ages.

Free with Museum general admission (purchase tickets for Frida Kahlo separately). Workshop space with Mary Adeogun is limited, and signup will open at 3:45 pm in the Education Gallery.
