Discover the intersections of dress, disability, and politics within Frida Kahlo’s artistic practice through presentations by Circe Henestrosa, curator of Frida Kahlo: Making Her Self Up at the V&A London, and Gannit Ankori, Professor of Fine Arts at Brandeis University. Then, Catherine Morris, Sackler Senior Curator for the Elizabeth A. Sackler Center for Feminist Art, and Lisa Small, Senior Curator, European Art, join Henestrosa and Ankori for a conversation about the organizing of our special exhibition Frida Kahlo: Appearances Can Be Deceiving.
