Dance: Recasting The Body in Bronze

In the first of our two-part series, Brooklyn-based dance company Renegade Performance Group presents A New Dimension, an immersive performance inspired by Rodin at the Brooklyn Museum: The Body in Bronze. Using movement, sound, poetry, and multimedia projections, the performance explores the dimensionality of the human form in Rodin's sculpture. Followed by a talkback with artistic director and choreographer André M. Zachery and participating artists. Featuring work from composers and sound artists Jeremy Toussaint-Baptiste and Jannina Norpoth, with poetry by James Weldon Johnson and film by André M. Zachery and Candace Thompson-Zachery.
