In honor of the A Day Without a Woman demonstration, Carmen Hermo, Assistant Curator for the Elizabeth A. Sackler Center for Feminist Art, gives a special tour of The Dinner Party by Judy Chicago. The 1974–79 masterwork combatted the erasure of women from mainstream historical narratives by celebrating the underknown achievements of women throughout Western history. Includes a discussion of art and feminism, as well as the role of collective action.
