Brought to you by BkM Teens, LGBTQ Teen Nights are free events planned by LGBTQ+ teens for LGBTQ+ teens and allies, inspired by our collection and special exhibitions. Explore work by artists who transcend gender, such as David Bowie, or those who reimagine a black, queer, femme art history, such as Mickalene Thomas, and:

  • Meet other LGBTQ+ teens from all over NYC
  • Experience live music and performances
  • See and create art
  • Watch films
  • Participate in discussions and workshops
  • Learn about community organizations and resources
  • View artwork by teen artists
  • Enjoy refreshments
  • Win raffles, and more!

June’s Teen Night explores gender and sexuality in our collection and special exhibitions, including David Bowie is and is planned by our LGBTQ Teen Night Planning Committee. Free and open to all LGBTQ+ teens and their allies, ages 14+.
