Join us for an exclusive Member Preview of The Obama Portraits Tour, before the exhibition opens to the public. From the moment of their unveiling at the Smithsonian’s National Portrait Gallery in February 2018, the official portraits of President Barack Obama and Mrs. Michelle Obama have become iconic. This special presentation of Kehinde Wiley’s portrait of President Obama and Amy Sherald’s portrait of the former First Lady enhances the conversations surrounding the power of portraiture and its potential to engage communities.

Free for Members, but reservations are required. Standard Membership admission benefits apply. Your Membership must be valid as of August 26, 2021, or you will need to renew your Membership in order to book your tickets. The last exhibition entry is at 9 pm.
