The Board of Trustees and Arnold Lehman, Shelby White and Leon Levy Director of the Brooklyn Museum, invite Members to view the exhibition Killer Heels: The Art of the High-Heeled Shoe on opening night and join fellow Members for an intimate reception while the Museum is closed to the public.

At 7.p.m., join Elizabeth Semmelhack, Senior Curator of the Bata Shoe Museum, and our very own Lisa Small, Curator of Exhibitions, for an overview of Killer Heels and a look at the high-heeled shoe’s enduring place in our popular imagination. Elizabeth will share her unprecedented knowledge of the rich and varied history of the high heel as she walks us through numerous exhibition highlights.
Complimentary drink tickets will be distributed to Members upon arrival. Parking fees for this event will apply. Please bring a parking pass, included in your Membership packet, to receive free parking in the Washington Avenue lot.
