Writer and historian Ian Buruma talks with photographer Stephen Shore about his iconic pictures of the American West and his more recent work around the globe, including From Galilee to the Negev, in which he explores the complexity of Israel and Palestine through landscape, portraits, and street photography. Shore's work is included in the exhibition This Place.
