9:30 am–5:30 pm

Throughout the Museum

Join other young people, including artists, entrepreneurs, chefs, poets, gamers, activists, educators, and creatives from around the city for interactive workshops, performances, discussions, and opportunities to exchange and build strategies together. This free, daylong summit is sure to inspire and ignite your creative power to make an impact on the world!

The Youth Creativity Summit is the first in an annual national series of youth-produced events taking place in L.A., NYC, Chicago, and Washington, D.C., with the goal of harnessing creativity and civic engagement.

Free and open to ages 14–22. View program details and register before March 23.

NYC summit activities are planned largely by young alumni of the Joan Mitchell Foundation and Groundswell, with support from the Brooklyn Museum Teen Council. The NYC summit is produced by Community Works and the Joan Mitchell Foundation in partnership with Lincoln Center Education and the Brooklyn Museum.
