The Gallery/Studio Program offers fun and challenging studio art courses. Be inspired and guided by professional teaching artists and create your own art with new and traditional materials. All levels of experience welcome!
Spring 2018 Courses
Mixed Media: On the Record
Saturdays, 1:30–3:30 pm
Learn the basics of graphic design, and use your skills to design your own album covers, combining photography, drawing, and collage. Find inspiration in music from the 1970s and 1980s as you transform vinyl records into cool sculptures.
Performance and Documentation
Sundays, 1:30–3:30 pm
Make art with a message! Combine storytelling and movement in performances inspired by Radical Women: Latin American Art, 1960–1985. Learn to use photography and sound recordings to document these stories and share your message.

Sunday sessions: March 4–May 13 (no class April 1)
All classes are two hours long.
Members: $265; non-Members: $285

Check out our work-study program! In exchange for a free course, work-study teens assist in a class, work with students on a one-to-one basis, prep supplies, and support a great learning environment. Apply by January 21.
Scholarships are available for all youth and teen classes. Completed applications may be submitted to the Museum in person or by mail. Applications must be received by January 21.
Parking is available for Gallery/Studio Program students and families. After the free 15-minute drop-off period, the hourly rate applies.
