Brooklyn Cultural Adventures Program

The Brooklyn Cultural Adventures Program has summer opportunities for teens. Gain fun and rewarding experience as program participants, interns, or counselers.

If you are ages 13–17:

  • BCAPteen Creative Leadership Project is a six-week summer program for teens where you will explore the arts, nature, culture, and community through film (stipends available for teens 14+). The program runs June 30–August 7 (no camp July 3), Monday–Friday, 9 a.m.–3:30 p.m.

If you are age 18+:

  • Counselors and Interns for BCAP, the partnership summer camp for youth ages 7–12, and BCAPteen (described above), are needed. Share your passion for education, the arts and sciences, and culture as part of a team of fun, energetic, and thoughtful peers.

BCAP and BCAPteen are organized by BCAP Summer Camp Directors at the Brooklyn Public Library. BCAP’s home base is the Brooklyn Museum, and BCAPteen’s home base is the Brooklyn Public Library, in partnership with the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, Brooklyn Children’s Museum, Prospect Park, and Prospect Park Zoo.
