The Gallery/Studio Program offers fun and challenging studio art courses. Be inspired and guided by professional teaching artists and create your own art with new and traditional materials. All levels of experience welcome!
Fall 2017 Courses
Saturdays, 1:30–3:30 pm
Set the scene and shoot photos full of drama, mystery, and intrigue! Learn the basics of digital photography, and print photos that look as if they came straight out of a movie. No camera or previous experience necessary.
Life, Death, and Drawing
Sundays, 1:30–3:30 pm
Study the basics of the human figure with volume, light, and shadow in this life-drawing class. Work with graphite and charcoal to draw from live models in the studio. Then complete your creations by seeing our Arts of the Americas collection and adding elements that reflect on mortality.

All classes are two hours long.
Members: $265; non-Members: $285

Check out our work-study program! In exchange for a free course, work-study teens assist in a class, work with students on a one-to-one basis, prep supplies, and support a great learning environment. Apply by Sunday, September 11.
Scholarships are available for all youth and teen classes. Completed applications may be submitted to the Museum in person or by mail. Applications must be received by Sunday, September 11.
Parking is available for Gallery/Studio Program students and families. After the free 15-minute drop-off period, the hourly rate applies.
