Brooklyn Cultural Adventures Program

Make Brooklyn your “campground” at BCAP Summer Camp! Campers ages 7–12 experience a unique educational experience that weaves exciting connections between art, culture, nature, and science.

2015’s theme is “Wild in the City.” Explore Brooklyn with untamed adventures in nature, art, and city life.

Session 1: June 29–July 10 (no camp July 3)
Session 2: July 13–24
Session 3: July 27–August 7

Sessions are two weeks long, Monday–Friday, 9 a.m.–3:30 p.m. Free early drop-off, 8–8:45 a.m. Optional after-camp program, 3:30–6 p.m.

BCAP also offers a six-week summer program (plus stipend) for teens who would like to develop their leadership and filmmaking skills. BCAP and BCAPteen are organized by BCAP Summer Camp Directors at the Brooklyn Public Library. BCAP’s home base is the Brooklyn Museum, and BCAPteen’s home base is the Brooklyn Public Library, in partnership with the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, Brooklyn Children’s Museum, Prospect Park, and Prospect Park Zoo.
