Enjoy a variety of art- and poetry-centered activities perfect for couples, friends, or individuals. Explore at your own pace, spark conversation, and discover playful ways to connect and create.

    Ask for a Poem
    American Art Galleries, 5th Floor
    Encounter poets from The Poetry Society of New York  in Toward Joy: New Frameworks for American Art and take home a unique poem that captures your essence. Poets will ask questions about you and then take a few minutes to compose a custom poem based on the answers.

    Gallery Tours: A Few of Our Favorite Things
    Meet in the Lobby, 1st Floor
    Discover your new favorite artworks on an immersive tour of the Brooklyn Museum. Join one of our A.​​R.​​T.​​ Guides, trained volunteers who are passionate about art and the conversations it encourages, for a tour of Judy Chicago’s The Dinner Party. Explore this icon of feminist art as a love letter to women artists.

    Weekend Art: Saturday Sketch Club
    Egyptian Galleries, 3rd Floor
    Draw inspiration from sculptures in our Egyptian Galleries. Create sketches of works that reveal a variety of relationships among ancient Egyptians.

    Pop-Up Talks
