Frequent Art Questions

That elegant sideboard is made of mahogany veneers. The handles are brass and some of the keyholes are wood and some are ivory. It would have been used to store table settings and cutlery in a dining room. We don't seem to know the maker for this, but it dates to circa 1790.Thanks, that answered my question!Oh, good. I was also going to add that it is designed in the Federal style.
