The Print Department of the Brooklyn Museum announces the opening on Sunday, March 6th, of an Exhibition of Block Prints, this being the First Annual Exhibition of American Block Prints assembled by the Print Club of Philadelphia. Among a large number of artists whose work is represented are Helen N. Rhodes, Tod Lindenmuth, E. H. Suydam, Edward Warwick, Dorothy Weir, Ralph M. Pearson, lIse Bischoff, Burchfield-Lankes, Ralph McLellan, J. J. Lankes, E. W. Watson, William S. Rice, Paul Pflaumer, Jr., and C. H. Geiger. The exhibition will remain on view until April first.
A group of sunday afternoon "Round Tables" and Discussions of Prints will be held in the Museum Library on Sunday afternoon during the period of the exhibition. The dates and subjects of these conferences will be announced on the Museum's spring lecture program.

A loan exhibition of Wood Block Prints will be opened at the Brooklyn Museum on Easter Sunday in the Print Gallery. It is an exhibition of 101 prints done by 70 artists and is a loan from the Philadelphia Print Club. The exhibition was first shown in Philadelphia and is known as the 2nd Annual Exhibition of American Block Prints arranged by that organization. The exhibition will continue until May 31st.
The prints come under the classification of modern and are all done by American artists. Many of them are in colors and there are several linoleum block prints also included in the exhibition. Many well-known artists are exhibitors, such as Rockwell Kent, Franz Geritz, Harold Haven Brown, Edna Reindel, Tad Lindenmuth, Ernest W. Watson, Leo J. Meissner, Francis H. Gearhart, Blanding Sloan, Emil Ganso, E. H. Suydam, Herbert Pullinger and Dorothy Weir.
Prizes have been awarded as follows:
The Mildred McGeorge Boericke Prize for the best print in the exhibition has been awarded to Rockwell Kent for "Forest Pool".
Honorable Mention to E. H. Suydam for "Bell of Old Evil Eye, Cristobal".
Honorable Mention to Herbert Pullinger for "Along the Canal".
