  • January 24, 1930 Two exhibitions will open in the Print Galleries of the Brooklyn Museum on Monday, February 10th. One will be the Annual Exhibition of the Brooklyn Society of Miniature painters which will be on view through February.

    The other will be an exhibition of Birds and Beasts in Etchings and Block Prints which will continue through February 27th. This collection has been assembled by the Print Department of the Museum and some use has been made of the Museum's own Print Collections to augment it.

    A collection of Original Drawings by Dr. Carl von Marr, the well known Munich artist, has just been arranged on the fourth floor of the Brooklyn Museum in Gallery 17. The exhibition consists of some forty figure drawings. Dr. von Marr was one of the instigators and organizers of the Exhibition of Bavarian Artists which was at the Museum last year. He is one of the distinguished members of the present Munich School of Artists. The exhibition will be on view for a month.
