  • June 25, 1948 The Print Department of the Brooklyn Museum is opening an exhibition of Modern French Prints on Friday, June twenty-fifth to be current through September fifteenth. The fifty odd prints in the exhibition are all from the Museum’s rich collection of modern French graphic art. Some of the artists included are Bonnard, Braque, Le Corbusier, Jacquemin, Matisse, Moreau, Picasso, Pissarro, Rouault, Roussel, Signac, Sisley, Villon and Vuillard. The work is done chiefly in the media of etching and lithography in color.
