Catalogue Description:
Landscape by Wang Chi-ch'ien (born 1907, Suchou). Massive granite hills rise abruptly beyond the narrow foreground lake. Thin stream and waterfall at lower center. Group of fir trees near left edge. High, wooded ridge in the distance, with a gray stormy sky above. Dated at lower right and signed Wang Chi-Ch'ien, followed by one of the artist's seals; another of his seals appears at the lower left. Gray silk border. Condition: No damages.
