Catalogue Description:
Wooden staff/Nalot Pounder. Tapered shaft terminates at top end into small, round serrated base on which stands a male figure with prominent penis, outstretched hands, support stalk, and a highly reduced and faceted, diamond-shaped head. Painted black all over. Patina is smooth and glossy on shaft, rough and matte on finial figure. Condition: very good. Structurally sound except for thin crack in base of figure and old breaks in serrated edging.
