Catalogue Description:
Figure of the goddess Bastet. Cat headed. She is striding with her right hand raised before her to hold a now misssing sistrum. In her left hand she holds an aegis to her chest. Condition: Green, brown, black patina. The whole surface is rubbed, especially the head. On the buttocks are several diagonal slashes. Pitting extends over the front of the figure and the head. Solid cast and in good condition otherwise.
