Catalogue Description:
Bronze figure of Bes standing upon a lotus capital which rises from a roughly square base. Flanking the capital are two recumbent lions. Circular projections from the top of the god’s head possibly indicate the presence of some now missing figure(s). Condition: Something is broken from the top of the head. A copper/black patina overall. Solid cast in good condition.
