Catalogue Description:
Baked clay funerary cone inscribed for the “King’s Scribe, Ramose.” The stamped inscription, which appears in raised relief, consists of six columns of hieroglyphic text within a circular frame. The inscription states that Ramose held his titles during the reign of King Taharqa. The clay is brick red on the surface. Condition: The inscription is quite worn; the buff slip is only partially preserved.
