Catalogue Description: Red jasper (?) oval gem mounted in iron shank and bezel. Engraved surface of gem convex. In intaglio, standing helmeted man facing right, right hand supports spear, left hand supports shield which rests on ground. Three inscriptions: a single column of inscription under his feet, a single column on the right side of the figure and one on the left of the figure. Iron setting old but probably not ancient. Condition: Intact.
