Catalogue Description:
Drag handle of a looped leather cord which laces through the underside of a bear's head. Y-shaped, incised mouth; inlaid, circular nostrils, eyes inlaid with metal; lightly sculptured ears; two concentric incised lines around neck with three pairs of short perpindicular lines. The neck is notched on one side. CONDITION: Stained in stripe on bottom. Long crack on each side of proper right eye. Shorter cracks around proper left eye. Leather stiff and dry.
