Catalogue Description:
Teapot (a) and lid (b), glazed earthenware. Molded form. Teapot has squat round form with footed base. Body has overall raised scrolling vine motif. Center has raised edge. Flared spout continues with vine design. The handle at its apex has a type of wheel motif. Lid mimics vine design on the teapot. Finial has raised wheel motif similar to the handle. Overall pale, muted yellow. Condition: Good overall condition. Chip to spout, rim and foot of teapot (a). Interior of teapot heavily stained from use. Chips to rim of lid (b).
