Catalogue Description:
Carved stone figurine with a slit mouth, closed eyes, and pronounced nose. The arms are held in front with hands clasped and the legs are bent in front of body and end in feet. Residue of red and yellow ocher and black pigment. There is also evidence of scraping on the figure's surface suggesting ceremonial renewal practice. See also 03.325.4527- 34. These figures were all found together inside a painted pot. They were purchased from the German trader, Cronmeyer.
