Catalogue Description:
Teapot and cover, ivory-bodied, pot of compressed globular shape; the ivory pot molded into four lobes on upper and lower body separated at mid-body by a molded gilt-foliate band; the upright fixed handle molded and gilded, the base of the spout covered by a gilt acanthus leaf; raised on four molded gilt cylindrical pad feet. The ivory, circular cover centered with a gilt molded knop. Condition: Very good.
