Catalogue Description:
Grey glaze round plate with polychrome decoration of a pheasant. Grey background with trees and river/march scene, in the foreground is a tall, yellow and orange feathered pheasant with long arched brown tail, the feathers outlined in gold; to the right is tall green leaf plant with dark blue flowers and above, across the width of the plate is a flowering branch with white and gold colored flowers and two small green birds sitting in the branch, with one bird with head pointing down and both with feathers outlined in gold; outer edge with thin gold band.
